2. Transit-Oriented Development
Indore-Pithampur Economic Corridor
The proposed Economic Corridor envisioned on about 1331.02 Ha of land is 20.25 Kms in length and it is proposed that 300 meter area on either side of 75 m wide road would be developed as the part of the project.
It is anticipated as economic growth axis and a transport link connecting the city of Indore and Industrial Area of Pithampur.
Due to increasing industrial and business activities in this region, the project is planned to tap the potential of the region to promote planned development for IT/ ITeS industries, Business Infrastructure, Institutions and R&D centers, entertainment and recreational facilities, residential and Green Industries.
