Since founding Mehta & Associates in 1991, Hitendra Mehta has guided the firm into a multidisciplinary institution with a regional and national presence, supported by over 150 specialised professionals.
An engineering graduate of 1987, he brings extensive experience across urban planning, infrastructure development, architecture, real estate, public–private partnerships and transaction advisory.
His advisory and governance roles include the Governing Board of SGSITS, Indore, review committees for the Indore Development Plan 2021 and Bhumi Vikas Niyam 2012, and the Advisory Committee for the Draft Real Estate Bill.
He continues to guide the firm’s strategic direction and mentor the next generation, drawing on professional engagement with the Institution of Engineers, Indian Building Congress, Indian Roads Congress and INTACH, among others.
Director — Architecture & Urban Design

An architect and urbanist, Jitendra Mehta joined the firm in 1995 after graduating at the top of his university in 1993. His work balances design excellence, environmental responsibility and contextual relevance.
He has served as an Indian Institute of Architects National Council Member (2015–2019), Chairman of the IIA Madhya Pradesh Chapter (2011–2015), and representative of ARCASIA’s Committee on Young Architects (2012–2014).
As Chairman of the Indian Green Building Council — Indore Centre, he promotes sustainable design and green building frameworks. His academic engagements include serving as a Visiting Lecturer at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
His recognition includes the Excellence in Architecture Award for Pipliyapala Lakefront Development (2011), Indian Concrete Institute awards (2009–2011), and IIA Centenary Year Appreciation Awards.
